With a little free time tonight (I don't get much anymore) I was able to create Bayler's Birth Announcement. I think it turned out super cute, and I should have some time tomorrow to send it out to some family and friends. I only am getting a few, so of course I will start with family, and what is left I will send to some out of town friends who have not met Bayler yet.
I can't help but tell a story really fast. Today I was sitting on the floor with Braeden playing with some blocks and Bayler was in his car seat sleeping right next to me. Bayler started to cry because he had spit out his pacifier, but Big Bro came to the rescue. Braeden scooted over to Bayler, picked up his pacifier & put it back in Bayler's mouth! How freaking cute is that? How many 21 month year olds do you know that would even notice something so little? He is such a good little man!

{Our New Addition}
HE arrived, and is FINALLY here! Yup, I said HE! Bayler Luke Imhoff was born on June 25, 2009 at 1:21 pm. He weighed 7 lbs and 4 ounces and is 21 inches long. Oh, and absolutly the most perfect baby in the world!
Ryan and I went in at 7:00 am to get all settled in, and by eight my water was broken and I was given patosin to start my contractions. Unfortunitly for myself I had asked for my epideral once I could feel the pain pretty bad and guess what? I didn't get it for an hour later, because he was in the middle of a c-section. Not cool, but everything else went really smoothly. After I was given my epideral I actually fell asleep 3 times, and the last time I woke up, the doctor was like ... "let's have a baby." With Braeden I pushed for about 10 mins, and let me tell you, the second one is like a cake walk ... yup, 5 mins later I had a baby in my arms and was IN LOVE! I almost forgot to check to see if it was a boy or a girl :)
The hospital was great, I could have stayed there an extra week just getting waited on, but finally we made it home. I am still getting used to home life, everything is different with two. My mom has been down here every day since to help out, and it has been so nice. I am just scared to have both at the same time, both crying and wanting me to go in two directions ... but I am pretty good with routines, so I will make it work!
Braeden has been such a great big brother. He thinks the baby is pretty cool, and likes to give Bayler lots of kisses! It's so cute! I can't wait for them to be best buddies!
Last but not least, I will leave you with pictures of the new guy! I just love my family ... it's perfect!

{A Name}
Well, for those of you who have been stressing out for us about not having a boy name picked out ... you can relax! Ryan and I have chosen a name for a little boy, if that is what we would have next Thursday.
I am also sorry, but we will be keeping it a secret :) I KNOW, killer! But it's so unique that if we ever do have another kid ... which who knows down the road ... we will use this name as well if it is not a boy this time around.
Now that you all are irritated with me, I would just like to let everyone know that we have complete our list of to-do's before the baby arrives and it feels great! Last night Ryan finished our bathroom which went through some renovations and a much needed paint job.
I would post pictures, but for some reason my camera does not want to cooperate with me this evening!
I hope everyone has a great weekend, and pray my water breaks tomorrow ... I AM READY!

{Braeden's New Room}
It's pretty much complete, there are a few things here and there, but if I wait too long to post his room, then it may never make it. I am really pleased, I love his racing strips & he loves his bed, so I think it's going to be a great transition.
Any mom's out there have any advice on how to get them used to their new room?
I am also going to walmart tomorrow ... I am past the point where I would be embarrassed if my water broke ... so bring it on :)
Of course Braeden helped! As we speak, the hubs is in the bathroom painting and getting rid of some mold before this baby gets here ... LOVE how we are getting everything complete ... here's to the check marks on my list of to do's!

{Baby Update}
Today I went back to the doctor to get my series of tests done & to FINALLY pick a day to have the baby. The baby looked great in the ultra sound and was pretty active during the stress test. I am not sure how they measure that exactly, but the baby was definitely moving around!
Afterwards I went to go see my OBGYN and he said I was still at a 4 ... no surprise there, and decided that we needed to go ahead and induce me at 38 weeks. GRR. I begged for this Saturday, but he wants to wait until next Thursday ... SOOO, we will for sure have a baby on ...
JUNE 25, 2009!
I do have to admit that I was a little upset today, I really thought he would have me come in on Saturday, and to know that I have to wait a whole 10 days kills. SO, I am just going to be doing A LOT of walking this week, and pray I go before then!!
Still don't have a boy name ... a little scary!

{Nursery}
I figured before I posted about Braeden's new room, I will share pictures of our nursery. Things will not really change for baby #2. If it's a girl, she will probably just live with the blue walls, unles my husband decides to paint. Other than that, I am wanting to put new baby pictures in the frames ... but bedding, furniture, etc. will stay the same ... take a look!

{Outfits}
It's another Friday night. Ryan has grown accustom to going out with his friends on Friday, which is fine, but it leaves me here at home.
But it's not like he leaves me empty handed ... I would never let him take my debit card from me :) Just kidding, I don't go hog wild like I would like to, but I did make a few purchases tonight ...
This is what baby #2 is going to come home in!!
This is what Braeden "aka BIG BRO" will be wearing the day of ...
I am so excited for them to get here ... I just hope they get here in time!

{Baby Update}
So it's been a while since I have updated you on baby #2. Yesterday I had my 35 week check up. It was a little crazy. I got into the room, my mom was in the waiting room with Braeden, and the nurse comes in to hand me the infamous gown ... I change, I wait, I wait, I wait ...
Of course, Dr. Jones had to leave to go deliver a baby! Luckily it was her 3rd baby, and he said it would probably only take 20 mins. And ... it did. I don't know if that scares anyone else, but it seriously took this poor woman only 20 mins with the doc!
Unfortunately, my mom had to leave, leaving me with Braeden for the remainder of the appointment. So poor Braeden, he was literally a terror in the room, moving chairs around, grabbing everything in reach, screaming .. lovely! That all changed when Dr. Jones came into the room. You should have seen his face ... WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY MOM!!
So for everyone wondering what going on with the surprise baby, things are going really well. Actually too well. I am already at 3 cm, the baby is really low, and Dr. Jones has me off my feet for the next week. YEA RIGHT. Love him, but really, I stay at home with a 20 month year old ... off my feet? That's not in my vocabulary! The reason is really because my doctor is going on vacation next week, and does not want me to have the baby while he is gone. SO ... I guess I understand where he is coming from. Luckily, he has me coming in on Monday for an ultra sound to see how big the baby is and if he can take it early (very possibly because of the itcy liver disease.) So ... for those of you who thought I was crazy for telling everyone I would have the baby by June 20th ... I just may be right :)
Hope that answers all your questions!
