{Mommy Day}

Today ... I will not be bothered ... because I will be here ...

My phone will be turned off, no one will be yelling for "mommy." And all will be right with the world.

Following the spa trip ... I will be having dinner with my mom! I can't wait!

{Chamber Gala}

A couple of weeks ago was the annual Chamber Gala. Ryan and I usually go with his company, which I love. It's so much fun getting dressed up and having a night out with out the kids. This year was even better. We opted to get a room at the hotel it was held out, so we didn't have to drive anywhere.

My friend Ashley took picture from the night, and I am so glad she did, my camera didn't fit in my cute feather purse!

Can't wait for next year!

{Rose Cake}

So, I had about a MILLION texts/emails/comments about this delicate, yummy rose cake, that I just had to share it with you on the blog. Here is the deal ... I found the cake here, at "I Am Baker." and I was one of those people who ran out the next day and made the cake.

Now, my husband says that this was the most amazingly beautiful cake he had seen and thought it tasted really good too ... soo, here are pictures of my cake, and I hope you all have good luck making it yourselves. It's SOOOO easy!

{Valentine's Day Cards}

Happy Friday!

I finally started getting into the Valentine's Day spirit, and make a few cards for our close family & friends. I LOVE the way they turned out. Valentine's Day cards are hard when you have boys ... you want them to have a masculine feel, with out all the hearts and pink :)

I used a quote form the boys favorite book "Guess How Much I Love You." It was perfect for VDay! And, since all we have out side is snow ... I thought it would be appropriate to share one of their outings. This was Braeden giving Bayler his hand to help him out of the 18" we got :) Soo cute!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

{Finally Filled the Picture Frames}

After Ryan and I found out we were having a baby {Braeden} I moved into his house. I started redecorating, making the house my own. It's actually come a LONG way since then. I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished. BUT, our family room has changed over and over again. I have never been content with the room, and something about it, maybe the shape, gets me riled up.

Last Summer, after I finished my my bedroom, I bought four extra white frames. I never used them, but they fit absolutely perfect in my living room. FINALLY I was at ease. Except for the fact I had nothing to put in them :) So, I left them empty ... on my walls ... for months :) It was actually 4 months to be exact! And my poor husband, every time we invited people over, or we were entertaining some clients he would ask me so nicely if I would please put some pictures in there. I refused politely.

This Sunday we had a few people over for the Superbowl, and as I was cleaning the house, I finally new what to put in the frames. Since the hubs is in the copier biz, I don't have to go somewhere to get pictures printed ... here is how it turned out. I am really happy ... except for the fact I hung them off kilter. Oh well ... that's another post!

Wedding & Event Planning Firm Receives Prestigious Industry Award

Columbia, Missouri – February 7, 2011 – The Bridal Solution is celebrating their second anniversary in style after receiving the prestigious “WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Award” for 2011 in the wedding and event coordination category. Founder and owner, Natalie Imhoff, takes the success in stride. Imhoff notes, “We are obviously pleased to receive the award. We know our clients want their weddings and other events to be unique, memorable and proceed flawlessly. So, they seek a firm with a stellar reputation. I’m pleased The Bridal Solution has achieved that status. For us, 2011 will be a year filled with fresh introductions.” That’s quite an achievement. Within 24 months – in a difficult economy – The Bridal Solution became an award-winning, thriving full-service wedding and event planning firm.

WeddingWire is the nation’s leading wedding technology company. Selection for the “Brides Choice Award indicates inclusion within the top five percent of wedding professionals. The winner is determined by recent reviews and extensive surveys completed by over 750,000 WeddingWire newlyweds. Given WeddingWire’s industry leader status, the award speaks volumes to the level of satisfaction and loyalty exhibited by The Bridal Solution clients. “We’re thrilled to be recognized with this award, particularly given many strong competitors in the industry today,” stated Ms. Imhoff.

The Bridal Solution debuts a new logo this February, giving the company a “fresh look” for 2011. The new logo, created by Hoot Design Co., better represents The Bridal Solution today – rather than its first months. “Now our logo will effectively convey the overall feel of the company and the high-quality services we provide for our clients,” added Ms. Imhoff.

The WeddingWire award and the new logo aren’t all that is new in 2011. The firm has also increased its supplier base, providing The Bridal Solution with the capabilities and the capacity to deliver a ‘first class’ feel to any event. New products, rentals and services that expand the variety of ways clients can create their unique event round out the The Bridal Solution’s enhanced presence in 2011. Prospective clients will find additional information, details of its offerings and testimonials from previous clients by visiting www.thebridalsolutonllc.com.

{Snowed In}

It's official ... we are snowed in for at least a couple of days. The State of Missouri has declared a State of Emergency. We had our first ever "Blizzard Warning," and snow fall is estimated at 18 inches, with the snow falling at 1 to 2 inches per hour. YIKES!

But it's not all bad. I stocked up on groceries tonight, bought a couple extra heated blankets, and picked up all the necessities. The only thing that bothers me is our power. I have a feeling we will most likely loose our sometime tomorrow night, and I am not really sure what we will do then. It should be interesting!

In other news ... TBS was to debut our new look/send press releases/and have a VIP party which have all been cancelled due to the weather. They have been rescheduled for February 7 ... wish us luck!

Ryan, was also in the paper on Sunday for a campaign ... here are a few pictures, can you tell I was proud :)
