Christmas 2011

Although the past few weeks have been extemely difficult for my family with the loss of a loved one on Christmas Day this past year, there was also the joy of the Christmas spirit sourrouning my family. There is nothing like watching the kids wake up on Christmas morning and the excitment that is illuminated over their entire face.

One of my new years resolutions from last year was to "live more in the moment." So although I did get a new lens this Decemeber, I did not take as many photos on Christmas morning as I usually do. I wanted to be completely emersed in their joy.
