I seriously do not know where the last month and a half as gone. A little over 40 days ago, our family made the big move from Missouri to Texas for Ryan's job. I was one of those decisions that was quickly made, and in that respect, a lot of the stress and little details were put aside and excitement set in.
It's been a long time coming. We knew we would eventually move, however, we didn't think it would be this quick. Because it happened so quickly, the hubs move down before us and we packed up two months later. I know for him it's been a lot of work, however for us, it almost feels like a vacation. All the new sites, activities, restaurants ... it's been exciting and fast-paced to say the least.
Now that we're in the grind of our daily lives, the initial jet lag has tapered off and we are back to living our lives how we're used to. I do have to say that I absolutely love Texas, the weather has been wonderful and the kids are excelling at school. What more could I ask for?

We have immersed ourselves in the culture here ... can you tell?!
We've clearly has some high's and lows, but we're happy, we're together and couldn't be more excited about the future.
